Designing Channel Letters
Upon launching the Tetra® Tool by Current, the first window is dedicate to the design of backlit channel letters. The first step is to select a font as similar as possible to what the client has requested. Where the LED modules will placed. Now you can enter your customized text and select the module you intend to use. To begin, it’s crucial to select the desired type of lighting among direct light, reflected light, both direct and reflected light together, or perimeter lighting. In the case of the latter, it must be specified whether the sign to be designed is single or double-sided. The second step is defining the shape of the box sign / backlit box, whether it’s triangular, rectangular, round, or any polygon with up to 12 sides. As with channel letters, the next steps are inserting the dimensions of the backlit box and choosing the LED modules to use. The dropdown menu with available LED modules is automatically filtered based on the previously entered parameters. All that’s left is to click on “Create” to achieve the optimal arrangement of modules in your customized backlit box!
